Essential Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine

About Me

I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Massachusetts since 2004. I am a graduate of New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and learned Chinese style acupuncture and Herbal medicine. Following the graduation from NESA and licensure, I spent 3 years for post graduation study as an apprentice of Mr. Kuwahara and was trained in Japanese Hari Style Meridian Therapy, which is featured in non-insertion needle technique. I started my own practice since 2007 in Greater Boston and South Shore area after the completion of the post graduate training. I continue to practice this, very gentle treatment style and Kampo style herbal medicine. Please enjoy my treatment.

In addition to the art of Oriental Medicine, I have been interested in the process of fermentation and feel very happy when making fermented food like miso, natto, and pickles in my free time. I want to broaden my knowledge in fermented foods to include cheese, dried fish, menma, sake and other foods.
